Wayne Mavin is a Sydney-based craftsman who, over the past 20 years, has specialised in traditional joinery, stairbuilding and handrailing.

Wayne draws inspiration from numerous craftsmen, some favourites being Edward Barnsley, Alan Peters, George Ellis and John Harrison as well as the unadorned simplicity of the works from Shaker communities in the United States. Wayne has established a small workshop in Gloucester, where he uses traditional craft-based methods.

He works for private clients, builders and architects in the Sydney area and interstate on request.
